My name is Lyle Mitchell, and for nearly 15 years, I’ve proudly called Asheville, NC, home. Above all else, I’m driven by curiosity and a passion for creating and exploring new possibilities. I’m dedicated to continually learning and growing—and I’m committed to helping you do the same.

With over a decade of experience in movement instruction and strength training, I specialize in kettlebell coaching and developing strength programs tailored for mountain athletes, including cyclists, rock climbers, and trail runners. As a certified kettlebell instructor and seasoned personal trainer, I help clients build power, mobility, and resilience to perform at their best both in sport and in life. My training approach is deeply informed by my background as a Physical Therapist Assistant, which ensures a strong focus on movement quality, injury prevention, and individualized care.

In addition to working with athletes, I’m passionate about helping older adults gain strength, balance, and confidence so they can move through life with greater ease and resilience. I believe it’s never too late to build the capacity to stay active and independent.

Outside of personal training and therapy, I serve as the Events Director and Bike Fitter at Gravelo Workshop, where I help cyclists of all levels optimize comfort, performance, and efficiency through professional bike fitting services. I also conduct bike fitting sessions at Movement For Life’s Candler location here in Asheville, NC.
